Prof. Yan’s research and publications touch on mobile application adoption, Information Technology Adoption (E-government, E-commerce, E-Learning Adoption), Human Capital/Human Resource Management, Information Systems (IS) Leadership, Open Source Software Studies, Micro/Macro Organizational Behavior in Information Systems (IS) Organizations, and Supply Chain Management. Her research papers have appeared in top-tier information systems and management conferences and journals such as IEEE transactions on Engineering Management, Decision Support Systems, Information & Management, and Journal of Business Research. In addition, she also supervised numerous Asian Strategic Projects with companies.

Prof. Yan received her Bachelor of Arts in Information Sciences at Nanjing University, the People’s Republic of China, Master of Science in Information Systems, and Doctor of Philosophy in Information Systems at the National University of Singapore.
